What is a License Key?

A license key is a unique code that unlocks PasteRheo Pro features. You might receive one from:

Giveaways - Community events and promotions
Partner offers - Special deals from our partners
Gift purchases - Someone bought PasteRheo for you
Promotional campaigns - Limited-time offers

License keys look like this: PR-XXXX-XXXX-XXXX

Before You Start

Make sure you have:

A PasteRheo account - You need to be logged in to redeem a key
Your license key - The 16-character code starting with PR-

Step-by-Step Redemption Guide

Step 1: Log In to Your Account

Visit pasterheo.com/account and sign in with your account. You can use:

Google
GitHub
Apple
Email (Magic Link)

Step 2: Go to Subscription Settings

Once logged in, you'll see your account dashboard. Click on "Subscription" in the left sidebar, or go directly to pasterheo.com/account#subscription.

Step 3: Find the License Redemption Section

Scroll down to find the "Redeem License" section. You'll see a key icon and a brief description.

Step 4: Enter Your License Key

Click the "Enter Key" button
Type or paste your license key in the input field
The key will automatically format to uppercase
Click "Redeem"

Step 5: Enjoy Pro Features!

If successful, you'll see a confirmation message and your subscription will be updated immediately. Your Pro features are now active!

License Key Format

Valid license keys follow this format:

PR-XXXX-XXXX-XXXX

Starts with PR-
Contains 3 groups of 4 characters
Uses letters (A-Z, excluding I, L, O) and numbers (2-9)
Case-insensitive (you can enter lowercase)

Examples of valid keys:

PR-A7K9-M3P2-X8N4
pr-b2c4-d5e6-f7g8
PR-2345-6789-ABCD

Troubleshooting

"License key not found"

Double-check you entered the key correctly
Make sure there are no extra spaces
Verify the key hasn't been used already

"This license key has already been redeemed"

Each license key can only be used once. If you believe this is an error, please contact support.

"Invalid license key format"

Ensure the key starts with PR-
Check that it has exactly 16 characters (including dashes)
Remove any extra characters or spaces

"This license key belongs to another user"

Some license keys are pre-assigned to specific users. If you received this key legitimately, please contact support with your purchase details.
